According to a government statement on Wednesday, China will address the risks of imbalances and fragmentation as it works to upgrade its industrial sector through the construction of new infrastructure.
State agencies, including the industry ministry, finance ministry, and central bank, have released a notification stating that China has built the largest 5G network and fiber-optic broadband infrastructure in the world. Additionally, China has expanded its artificial intelligence capabilities.
“However, the development problems such as difficulties in coordination and integration, lack of coordination, and imbalances are becoming increasingly prominent,” it stated.
It also brought attention to the issues of uneven development and geographical differences in the creation of new information infrastructure.
