International travel industry executives and key decision-makers have voiced strong confidence in the long-term resilience and future growth of the UAE’s tourism sector, predicting a swift recovery that will outpace broader global market trends. Speaking during the “Engage by Elevate online 2026” virtual summit, organized by Elevate World, global travel leaders emphasized that the UAE remains a highly sustainable, premium destination well-positioned to capture significant pent-up international travel demand ahead of the vital fourth-quarter travel season.
Broadcast from the Elevate Tourism Hub in Dubai, the hybrid conference acted as a strategic growth accelerator, bringing together over 100 international tour operators and more than 200 luxury hotels, resorts, and attractions from major global source markets. The summit facilitated extensive networking alongside more than 1,500 pre-scheduled B2B meetings. Opening the event, Samir Hamadeh, Founder and CEO of Elevate World, noted that the UAE has routinely demonstrated agility and a gold-standard approach to safety and hospitality during periods of global volatility. He emphasized that the sector’s outlook is highly positive, with a rapid recovery well underway as the destination continuously diversifies its world-class offerings.
The event also marked the launch of Yara AI, a new artificial intelligence platform developed by Elevate World to assist hotels, tour operators, and hospitality stakeholders in adopting a proactive, tech-driven approach to ecosystem management. Furthermore, the summit highlighted the deep collaboration between the public and private sectors. Senior officials from the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, Miral, and the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) presented aligned strategies aimed at maximizing high-yield luxury travel opportunities for Q4 2026.
Serving as the summit’s headline sponsor, the multi-billion-dollar Wynn Al Marjan Island resort provided an exclusive update on its construction timeline. Project leaders detailed their ongoing work with RAKTDA and Elevate World to drive international trade engagement ahead of the landmark destination’s opening. In another major announcement, Miral and Elevate World finalized a distribution partnership to enhance the global marketing, reach, and booking accessibility of Yas Island’s premier entertainment and hospitality properties.
High-level panel sessions featuring prominent British and European travel companies revealed exceptionally strong booking indicators for the region. Paul Truss, Head of Product at Virgin Atlantic Holidays, commended the event for fostering honest industry dialogue and reiterated his company’s unwavering commitment to its Middle Eastern portfolio. Similarly, Mark White, Head of Contracting Long Haul/North Africa at On the Beach, affirmed that consumer appetite among UK travelers remains robust and that the agency is fully dedicated to promoting the destination. Additionally, the second day of the summit focused heavily on the resurgence of business tourism and the MICE sector.
