The Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTI Park) is spearheading efforts to expand Sharjah’s innovation ecosystem by accelerating the development and commercialization of solutions in water, food, energy, and resource management. By integrating research, technology, entrepreneurship, investment, and industry, SRTI Park bridges the gap between laboratory concepts and viable market solutions. The ecosystem supports a diverse range of emerging technologies, including uSky Transport’s suspended transit systems, green hydrogen projects, conductive concrete, 3D-printed housing, and Maxbyte’s deployment of robotics and AI for sustainable manufacturing. These initiatives provide startups and investors with a structured platform for pilot testing, technology validation, and commercial expansion.
To build on this momentum, the Sharjah Next – Sustainability event is scheduled for October 28 and 29, 2026, at SPARK. The conference will bring together researchers, business leaders, government entities, and investors to focus on the localization, funding, and deployment of sustainable technologies across key sectors, including clean energy, circular economy frameworks, precision agriculture, and smart water management. Through these unified efforts, Sharjah continues to solidify its role as a regional hub for future-ready technologies, attracting global innovators and driving long-term economic sustainability.
