INDO WATER 2027 EXPO & FORUM: Enters a New Phase at a Bigger Venue, Strengthens Global Industry Connection

JAKARTA, INDONESIA — As Indonesia continues to strengthen its national water supply infrastructure and expand access to safe drinking water, Indo Water Expo & Forum is stepping up its international engagement to strengthen connections with the global water industry. The Indo Water team will conduct an industry visit to an international water, energy, and sustainability exhibition in Dubai on 20–22 October 2026, as part of its efforts to gain market insights, explore international connections, and strengthen the global network supporting the upcoming exhibition.

The visit comes at a time when Indonesia’s water sector is entering an important phase of development. Through Minister of Public Works Regulation No. 6 of 2026 on the National Policy and Strategy for Drinking Water Supply System (Jakstranas SPAM) 2026–2030, the government has established a national framework to progressively improve access to safe drinking water in line with the country’s long-term development targets. The policy promotes integrated and sustainable drinking water supply systems, including the development of piped networks, optimization of water resources, and improved service quality. The regulation also highlights the importance of strengthening institutional capacity and developing innovative financing mechanisms to expand access to drinking water services. Its financing strategy is directed toward encouraging collaboration between the government and business entities. The implementation of these policies and strategies is expected to strengthen the effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability of the national SPAM, while improving the quality of drinking water services and supporting broader public welfare. These developments underline the growing relevance of technology, expertise, investment, and industry collaboration in supporting Indonesia’s water sector. In this context, Indo Water continues to strengthen its role in connecting the Indonesian market with international water technology providers, companies, and industry stakeholders.

Indo Water marked a new milestone in 2026, achieving a fully booked exhibition area of 20,000 square metres and receiving an overwhelming participation from 700 companies from 23 countries. The three-day event also welcomed 17,925 professional visitors, reflecting continued engagement from the water and wastewater industry. Building on this success, the exhibition is confident in welcoming more than 700 exhibitors from 30 countries and ensuring 18,000 visitors attend the upcoming edition, taking place from 24–26 August 2027 at Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE) PIK 2, Tangerang, Indonesia.

The new venue at NICE PIK 2 forms part of the continued development of the exhibitions, providing a larger space to accommodate the needs of exhibitors and visitors while supporting the delivery of exhibition programmes and supporting forums across the co-located events. With a broader sectoral scope, evolving exhibition identities, and continued support from government and industry stakeholders, Indo Water continues its upcoming exhibition with an increasingly integrated space for industries to meet, exchange knowledge, discover technologies and solutions, and build opportunities for collaboration.

This comprehensive exhibition, global conference, and networking opportunities are designed to be a catalyst for transformative solutions. Incorporating with Indo Waste & Recycling, Indo Renergy & Electric, Indo Security, Indo Firex, Rescue & Disaster, and Indonesia International Smart City 2027 Expo & Forum, this cross-sector exhibition will be the definitive meeting point for showcasing breakthrough solutions and forging strategic collaborations that drive the future of Indonesia’s strategic technology sector.
