Global financial infrastructure provider Unlimit has secured a Money Service Operator license from Hong Kong’s Commissioner of Customs and Excise, enabling the company to expand its cross-border settlement capabilities across the Asia-Pacific region. Operating from its dual headquarters in San Francisco and London, the fintech firm manages Stable.com, a dedicated clearing house and exchange platform that integrates multi-currency balances, card issuance, treasury management, and decentralized finance access. The newly acquired licensing framework allows Unlimit to establish localized payment rails out of its Hong Kong hub, catering to an enterprise client base that includes global brands such as Xiaomi, Telegram, Convera, and inDrive.
The strategic licensing acquisition positions Unlimit to capitalize on Hong Kong’s expanding status as a major international financial center, where average daily foreign exchange turnover reached 883 billion dollars according to central bank survey data. Company leadership highlighted that the regulatory approval will address rising operational complexity for regional businesses by streamlining cross-border capital flows and corporate liquidity management. Under the direction of Founder and Chief Executive Officer Kirill Evseev, the company plans to utilize its Hong Kong footprint to deepen integration between traditional fiat channels and digital asset infrastructure across Asia-Pacific markets.
