Pop superstar Taylor Swift delighted fans with an unannounced appearance at the Hollywood premiere of the animated film “Toy Story 5” on Tuesday. Taking the stage at the Dolby Theatre in a full-length gown, Swift performed “I Knew It, I Knew You,” an original song she penned for the latest sequel. During the event, the singer shared her lifelong admiration for the beloved franchise before introducing a second surprise guest: legendary composer Randy Newman, the creative force behind the series’ iconic musical scores. The duo then treated the audience to a duet of Newman’s classic 1995 hit, “You’ve Got a Friend in Me.”
Before heading inside for the performance, Swift walked the red carpet and posed for photographs alongside “Toy Story” voice actors, including Tom Hanks and Joan Cusack. The highly anticipated film from Walt Disney’s Pixar Animation Studios is scheduled for theatrical release on June 19.
