UK-founded fintech Revolut has appointed banking and government veterans to its Singapore Advisory Board to support local leadership on governance, regulatory engagement, business strategy, and sustainable growth. The newly established board comprises former Minister of State for Manpower and Trade & Industry Teo Ser Luck, former GXS Bank Singapore founding CEO Charles Wong, and governance and risk specialist Yvonne Aw. Raymond Ng, CEO of Revolut Singapore and Southeast Asia, noted that the trio brings deep expertise across public policy, banking, and risk management to strengthen local accountability while maintaining the high operational standards expected of a trusted financial institution.
The appointees bring extensive institutional experience across both the public and private sectors to guide Revolut’s regional trajectory. Teo Ser Luck served as Singapore’s Minister of State and acted as president of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants from 2022 to 2026, where he currently serves as an adviser. Charles Wong leads the Retail and Digital Banking practice for Asia at Simon-Kucher, having previously served as the founding CEO of GXS Bank following senior leadership roles at Citibank, including Managing Director and Head of Retail Banking Singapore. Yvonne Aw serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee at Sompo Insurance China, offering specialized expertise spanning corporate governance, audit, and financial services risk management.
