Huawei Technologies from China announced on Monday that pre-orders for its Mate 70 smartphone model have begun. They shared this news on their official WeChat account.
In a separate statement, the company revealed that it will host an event for the Mate brand on November 26. During this event, they are expected to unveil their latest smartphone lineup.
On Monday, Huawei’s online store started allowing users to reserve the Mate 70 and two pro versions without requiring a deposit. However, the website did not mention any prices.
Last year, Huawei made its comeback in the 5G premium smartphone market with the release of its Mate 60 phones. These devices feature semiconductors produced domestically.
In China, people have celebrated the phones as a victory over U.S. sanctions. Since 2019, these sanctions have restricted Huawei’s access to advanced U.S. chips and other technologies.
