Indonesia is entering one of the most dynamic phases of water sector growth in its history. Backed by strong government commitment, the country is targeting 24 million new household piped water connections by 2029, effectively doubling current coverage and extending reliable water access to approximately 93 million additional people. This initiative forms part of a comprehensive long term roadmap under the National Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN) 2025–2045, which envisions the establishment of 56 million total connections and the achievement of universal water access for more than 211 million Indonesians by 2045. Indo Water’s 2025 edition marked a significant milestone, achieving a total gross exhibition area of 15,888 square meters and welcoming 620 exhibitors from 26 countries, including 12 international country pavilions. Energised by this result, the upcoming edition aims to raise the bar further, targeting 700 exhibitors from 30 countries and 17,000 visitors. The event will take place on 11–13 August 2026 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Indonesia, featuring a comprehensive exhibition, global conference, and extensive networking opportunities designed to foster meaningful connections among business leaders and decision makers in the industry.
