Celine Dion to make comeback with 10 Paris concerts this fall

Celine Dion announced on Monday—her 58th birthday—that she will return to the stage this autumn with a series of 10 concerts in Paris, scheduled across September and October.

The highly anticipated reveal followed an advertising campaign across the city that had already sparked rumours of a comeback by the French-speaking star, known for her powerful ballads. Speaking on French television, Dion said the shows would mark a deeply meaningful return, calling it “the best gift” as she looks forward to performing again in Paris.

The announcement was also marked by a light display on the Eiffel Tower. Pre-sale tickets will be available from April 7, with general sales opening on April 10.

Dion rose to global fame in the late 1990s with My Heart Will Go On, the iconic theme from Titanic. She stepped away from performing in 2022 after being diagnosed with Stiff-Person Syndrome, a condition that causes severe muscle spasms and affected her ability to sing, leading to the cancellation of her “Courage World Tour.”

One of the best-selling artists of all time, Dion also headlined hugely successful Las Vegas residencies between 2003–2007 and 2011–2019, widely regarded as some of the most lucrative in music history.

She made her first public performance in two years at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics opening ceremony, where she performed Hymne à l’amour—a moment that reignited speculation about her eventual return to major stages.
