With temperatures near degrees Celsius and high humidity, Djokovic needed medical attention for his vitals and was visibly exhausted, collapsing onto the court after the -hour and -minute match. Having previously called the conditions “brutal” (and having vomited in an earlier match), Djokovic struggled to break the world No. ‘s serve in the long second set before securing two timely breaks to win the decisive third set.
