Barclays has recruited Farzad Billimoria, formerly a private banker at HSBC, for its UAE operations.

Farzad Billimoria has been named the new Head of Private Bank for the UAE at Barclays.


Barclays, celebrating its 50th year in the UAE, aims to significantly expand its private banking and wealth management presence, particularly in the Middle East and Asia. Billimoria will be based in Dubai and report to Annabelle Bryde, Barclays’ Head of Private Bank International. He joins Barclays from HSBC, where he served as Senior Executive Officer and Head of Private Bank for the UAE, departing during recent leadership changes as part of CEO Georges Elhedery’s restructuring efforts.
