Benedicte Schilbred Fasmer will take over as CEO of Telenor, a telecom firm based in Norway, on December 1st when current CEO Sigve Brekke departs. The company announced this change on Thursday.
As the CEO of SpareBank 1 SR-Bank now, Fasmer will be the first female leader of Telenor.
The corporation released a statement saying, “Telenor’s financial targets stand firm, and there are no plans for any strategy shifts.”
