Taiwanese domestic banks had extended $341.94 billion (NT$10.82 trillion) in loans to small and medium-sized enterprises by the end of November 2025, according to data released in January 2026.
The figure was NT$2 billion higher than at the end of October, the Financial Supervisory Commission said. SME lending accounted for 64.7% of total corporate loans and 67.83% of loans to private enterprises.
The average non-performing loan ratio for SME lending stood at 0.2% at end-November, down 0.01 percentage point from October.
