Stellantis, the French-Italian car maker, denied a report from the Corriere della Sera on Wednesday. The report claimed that the company planned to appoint Luca Maestri, the outgoing finance chief of Apple, as its new CEO.
A Stellantis spokesperson stated, “It is not true.” The Corriere report also mentioned that Stellantis Chairman John Elkann intended to name Maestri after CEO Carlos Tavares’ departure.
