Standard Chartered has opened its first-ever Global Fusion Centre in Malaysia.
The centre is designed to combine real-time intelligence with AI-driven systems to boost operational resilience and reinforce digital trust, the bank said, adding that it will enhance its ability to respond swiftly to emerging situations.
It is housed within the bank’s Global Business Services (GBS) hub in Malaysia, established in 2001, which supports operations across more than 50 markets and is its second-largest GBS hub after India.
GBS Malaysia employs over 4,400 people.
