At the end of June 2025, Taiwanese banks had lent a total of 355.73billion(NT10.67 trillion) to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), an increase of 3.4billion(NT102 billion) from the previous month.
These loans accounted for 64.73% of all loans extended to businesses and 68.56% of all loans extended to private businesses. Both of these percentages were slightly higher than they were at the end of May.
The non-performing loan (NPL) ratio for SME loans remained stable at 0.21% in June, unchanged from May.
