Singapore and Thailand Sign Bilateral Agreement on Cybersecurity and Digital Fraud

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Bank of Thailand (BOT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen cross-border cybersecurity collaboration and tackle digital fraud in the financial sector.

Under the agreement, both central banks will share real-time threat intelligence, regulatory developments, and incident reports. They will also deepen technical cooperation through joint research, policy insights, staff training, and study visits, alongside conducting collaborative cross-border cybersecurity and crisis management exercises.
