Oman’s Dhofar Governorate Sees Over $12.9 Million in Approved Housing Loans

Since its establishment, the Oman Housing Bank’s Dhofar branch has provided over RO151 million in housing loans, benefiting 7,620 individuals across the governorate. According to CEO Musa Masoud al Jadidi, the bank saw a 4% increase in housing loans in Dhofar during 2024, approving 112 loans worth more than RO5 million.

Al Jadidi emphasized that these results show the bank’s dedication to helping citizens afford homes. He added that the bank has successfully cleared all housing loan waiting lists in Dhofar and is now working to speed up the process for applicants in other governorates. This effort is part of the bank’s broader strategy to support family stability and align with the goals of Oman Vision 2040, which aims to improve citizens’ quality of life.
