HBO Max will premiere the third and final season of Euphoria at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Sunday, April 12, marking the first time a television series has been screened at the iconic event.
The Emmy-nominated drama, led by Zendaya—a two-time Emmy winner for her role as Rue Bennett—will be shown at 11:59 p.m. PDT at the festival’s campgrounds after the final performances of the weekend. The late-night screening will be exclusive to Coachella wristband holders and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The premiere is scheduled to close out the first weekend of the two-week festival, which will feature major acts including Sabrina Carpenter and Justin Bieber.
First released in 2019, Euphoria follows a group of high school students in East Highland, California, as they navigate complex themes such as relationships, identity, addiction, and loss. The third season, directed by creator Sam Levinson, shifts focus to the characters’ transition into adulthood, exploring themes of faith, redemption, and the consequences of past choices.
Zendaya returns alongside key cast members including Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, and Sydney Sweeney.
The eight-episode season will officially debut on HBO Max the same day, with new episodes released weekly. First launched in 1999, Coachella has become one of the world’s most influential festivals, known for blending music, art, fashion, and pop culture.
