Goldman Sachs has named Samuel Green as the new managing director for its real estate investing team in Sydney, as confirmed by an internal memo.
Green will be responsible for spearheading the strategic growth of Goldman Sachs’ Australian equity and credit investing platform, as well as fostering stronger client relationships in the region. He brings a wealth of experience in alternative investments, including private equity, hybrid, and credit within real assets.
Prior to this appointment, Green worked at Apollo Global Management, where his focus was on commercial real estate in Australia and New Zealand. He also previously held a position at Macquarie Principal Finance and earlier in his career, worked in Goldman Sachs’ investment banking division.
