Bad Bunny’s upcoming concert series in Madrid is driving a significant surge in restaurant reservations across the city’s central leisure districts compared to the same timeframe last year, according to data released on Tuesday by the online booking platform TheFork. The Puerto Rican artist is slated to perform a 10-night run at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano stadium between May 30 and June 15, with total attendance projected to exceed 600,000 fans. Booking traffic is heavily concentrated on the opening night of May 30, which alone accounts for 23% of the total reservations, followed by June 6 as the second most popular date at 12%.
In terms of culinary preferences during the concert stretch, Mediterranean cuisine leads the way by securing 16% of reservations, with Japanese and Italian dining options following closely at 11% and 10% respectively. The data also highlights social dining trends, showing that nearly 75% of the bookings are made for smaller parties of up to five people, while mid-sized groups ranging from five to nine diners represent roughly 20% of the volume. Consequently, dining venues that cater well to groups of friends are seeing the highest demand, with outdoor terrace spaces and family-friendly environments ranking as the next most sought-after restaurant features.
