Citi has announced two key additions to its debt capital markets (DCM) franchise within the Asia Pacific region.
Anthony Yap steps into the role of head of leveraged finance for Australia and New Zealand. Based in Sydney, Yap transitions from HSBC, where he previously served as the head of private capital group coverage and financing for the same region.
Meanwhile, Maria Chua has joined the firm in Hong Kong as a director. In this role, she will oversee leveraged and syndicated loans for Southeast Asia. Chua makes the move from UBS, where she formerly led leveraged finance origination for Asia.
Both Yap and Chua will report directly to Adrian Khoo and Deepak Dangayach, the co-heads of DCM for the Asia Pacific region.
