Citi has elevated four bankers to managing director roles across its investment banking operations in Japan, Asia North & Australia, and Asia South.
The newly appointed MDs are Koyu Mori in Japan; Ryan Li and Sam Sun in Hong Kong; and Varun Chokhani in India, the bank said in a statement.
In Japan, Citi delivered one of its strongest performances to date, with investment banking revenues more than doubling year-on-year, according to Dealogic figures.
