Boeing announced late Thursday that it filed an unfair labor practice claim against the union representing over 33,000 striking West Coast production workers. The company submitted the claim to the National Labor Relations Board.
During the four-week work stoppage, Boeing accused the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers unit of not engaging in good faith bargaining. The union represents the striking workers.
According to Boeing, there has been a “pattern of bad faith bargaining, and of issuing misinformation to its members about the status of negotiations.”
