DBS and Stripe have announced a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating cross-border payments and agentic commerce across Asia, according to an announcement on August 27, 2026. The collaboration fuses DBS’s pan-Asian banking infrastructure and cash management capabilities with Stripe’s programmable financial services to streamline how businesses move, collect, and manage funds internationally.

Under the agreement, Stripe will integrate DBS’s money movement and digital banking solutions to upgrade cross-border payment options for merchants on its platform. In turn, DBS will explore utilizing Stripe’s global platform and embedded finance tools to widen its international network and connect institutional clients with global markets. The partnership was finalized at a memorandum of understanding signing ceremony featuring DBS Chief Executive Officer Tan Su Shan and Stripe Chief Business Officer Fran Ryan.
