A survey by MoneyHero and Coinbase shows that most retail investors in Singapore now own cryptocurrency.
Among 3,513 active retail investors polled, 61% said they hold crypto, with average self-reported allocations of 6%–12%, reflecting growing interest but a relatively conservative risk posture.
When selecting a trading platform, 65% cited trust as their top priority, followed by 42% who pointed to fees.
According to the report, Singapore’s crypto market appears to have entered a more mature stage—marked by broader ownership, cautious portfolio weighting, and a stronger emphasis on trust over cost when choosing an exchange.
