Six Indonesian financial institutions have entered into an MOU with VinFast, the Vietnamese electric vehicle maker, to simplify credit evaluation and loan approval processes for car financing.
The participating lenders are PT Adira Dinamika Multi Finance Tbk, PT Bank Woori Saudara Indonesia, PT CIMB Niaga Auto Finance, PT Mandiri Tunas Finance, PT Maybank Indonesia Finance, and PT Sunindo Kookmin Best Finance.
Signed on 16 November 2025, the agreement outlines plans for VinFast and the banks to collaborate on joint marketing and communication efforts.
The goal is to expand access to EVs in Indonesia by creating appealing loan packages featuring competitive rates, lower down payments, and faster, more streamlined credit approvals, according to the announcement.
The partnership is also set to enhance efficiency in loan assessments, cut processing times, and provide customers with a smoother financing experience.
