Russia’s Rosatom to Build Four Nuclear Plants in Iran Under $25 Billion Deal.

Russia’s state nuclear corporation, Rosatom, has reached an agreement with Iran to construct new nuclear power plants, though official details vary. Iran’s IRNA news agency reported Friday that the deal is worth $25 billion and covers four nuclear facilities. Rosatom, however, only confirmed on Thursday that it had signed a non-specific MoU to build small nuclear power plants in the country.
