Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) has appointed Joyce Tee as its new head of corporate banking for the Asia Pacific region, effective May 22. Tee brings three decades of banking experience, most recently serving as managing director and head of institutional banking at DBS China. She succeeds Hideo Uchida, who will move to another leadership role within the SMBC Group.
